Wed. July 12, 2017 Program at Oak Grove Funeral Home (yes, that's right!) 309 Parkdale Ave. Manistee 7:00pm.

 Michigan Reptiles & Amphibians Alive

Michigan is home to over 50 species of reptiles and amphibians, yet, many are unknown or misunderstood by most Michigan citizens. Meet live native frogs, turtles and snakes specific to Manistee County while learning about their identification, habitat needs and interesting behaviors. Also learn what you can do to help them survive. At the presentation's conclusion participants will have the opportunity to watch some of them being fed - and even hold a snake!

Join us for this always popular program by Jim and Carol McGrath.  Get a seat early, kids love this program!

No NAMC this weekend!  The state compiliers have cancelled this event due to lack of a national data bank for it and possibly due to the increased use of eBird to store information.

Please get out this weekend and bird on your own wherever you like.

Contact me if you are interested in getting together for a brown bag lunch and birding conversation that afternoon.
