What: 2nd Bird Blitz
When: Saturday, June 6th
Where: Arcadia Dunes Nature Preserve & Arcadia Marsh
Join other birders in helping the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy survey the birds of Arcadia Dunes and nearby Arcadia Marsh. From 5 or 6 am until 10 am, birders (or small groups) will cover different parcels of the property and list the species and numbers of the birds found. Afterwards, participants will meet for refreshments, to turn in count sheets, and share highlights of the morning. For more information or to sign up, call or email Paula Dreeszen at 275-7199.
